  • Very little preperation is needed.

    Before the session, we provide gentle prompts to help organize thoughts, but nothing needs to be memorized. The conversation is guided, natural, and centered on what matters most.

    Feeling nervous is completely normal — most people do at first. Within a few minutes, the session typically feels less like an interview and more like a meaningful conversation.

    You’re always welcome to suggest specific topics you’d like included, as well as anything you’d prefer to avoid. The goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, respectful, and unhurried.

  • Yes, our Signature Edit offering includes the integration of family photos and/or home videos to add depth and visual storytelling.

  • Sessions are filmed on location — typically in the client’s home, where comfort and familiarity help stories flow naturally.

  • Yes. Many families choose LegacyLens to preserve final reflections, personal messages, or words of blessing for loved ones.

    These films can be included in estate planning, shared at memorial gatherings, or kept as a private keepsake for future generations. Every session is handled with care, privacy, and respect.

  • Yes. Your interview footage and final film remain private and are shared only with those you authorize.

    LegacyLens does not publish, distribute, or use your content without your explicit permission.

  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve your session date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to filming.

    Deposits secure your scheduled time and preparation. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo for convenience.

  • Turnaround time is typically 3–4 weeks, depending on the package and amount of editing required.

  • Yes.

    The Essential Edit includes one round of minor adjustments, such as light trimming or small refinements to ensure everything feels right.

    The Signature Edit includes an additional round of collaborative revisions, allowing for more personalization in elements like music, photo integration, and overall story flow.
